SBA RSRA Example
You’re looking for a Record Search with Risk Assessment (RSRA) example. It’s a simple report for fulfilling the Small Business Administration (SBA) requirement for environmental due diligence for commercial loan transactions. Because these reports are pretty basic, many consultants have created templates in Microsoft Word that helps them to create the report. A3 Environmental Consulting has a RSRA template which is our starting point for the hundreds of RSRAs we do. But if you’re coming here looking for a example, you might be new to the RSRA reports and maybe we can help fill in some of the blanks.
Not Every Business is Eligible.
There is a certain group of businesses who are excluded from using RSRAs to get loans from the SBA. Known as ‘Environmentally Sensitive Industries’ there’s a list that can be found in SBA SOP 50 10 5 J, Appendix 4. If your business type is on that list, you can’t use the RSRA. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell if your business is on the list. You can determine by clicking here what your North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is.
The SBA has a Flowchart:
We know, the flowchart is a lot to process on the screen. You can download it by clicking here.
You will need a example RSRA to compare to. You can download one by clicking here.
Microsoft Word RSRA Template
Attached is our standard template for RSRAs as a Word Document. Download it and you’ll see black text, red text and blue text. The red and blue text is alternative text. You’ll need to fill it out or change it to be appropriate for the job. The black text is boiler plate. It never changes. You might be wondering why we would help other people / consultants by giving them our template. Well, you might need us! We’re interested in possibly partnering with you.
